Ideal situation - never had to use the car once. Lots of walks right on the doorstep and when the weather was wet we took the train from the local station to Shrewsbury (15 mins) and Hereford (40 mins). Beautiful spot with superb views. Very comfortable, warm and really clean home from home. Thank you for the milk and the wonderful homemade biscuits.

Loved the house and gardens. Fantastic area to explore, we will be coming back. Thanks for the yummy cake and beautiful flowers. Crisp apples and damsons to take home - all much appreciated.

We have enjoyed our week holidaying in your beautiful cottage. Everything we could have wished for and more. A perfect location. Many thanks for the cakes and flowers and your warm welcome.

Thank you for a lovely welcome and providing such a comfortable temporary 'home' to host our family get together. Everything sparkling clean and so helpful to have the high chair and cot available too. We all love the area and you have such a good base to access it all. A big thank you from us all.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ferndale. It is a beautiful house to stay in with everything you might need. Found walking from the cottage fabulous especially going up and over the Longmynd and going over the stile in the garden to get up to Ragleth Hill. Thank you for the flowers, cakes and tips on walking and pubs - really useful.
